Collaboration and service provision

A research collaboration involves an investment from the platform in terms of scientific and technological aspects in the realization of the project (research, design, and development of new or original processes). It commits the requester to acknowledge this involvement when valorizing the results. The work is initiated based on shared objectives and costs. The results are jointly owned by the platform and the client.

A service provision implements existing expertise within the platform. Each party remains the owner of its intellectual and/or material contributions prior to the study, but the results of the study are the exclusive property of the partner who commissioned the study.

The Platform must be explicitly acknowledged in any communication or publication presenting results obtained through its support.

In accordance with the agreement established at the beginning of the project, Platform staff must either be included as co-authors of the publication, or be acknowledged in the articles, posters, or thesis work deriving from the use of its resources.
